Education
We make complicated information easier to understand through student meetings, speakers, and practical learning.
Launching Fall 2026 at Ohio State
We’re a new student organization helping Buckeyes learn about human trafficking, support local work, and turn awareness into useful action.
No experience required. Every major is welcome.

Who We Are
Buckeyes Against Human Trafficking brings education, prevention, and community involvement together at Ohio State.
We believe awareness should lead somewhere. Our goal is to help students understand the issue accurately, learn from people already doing the work, and find responsible ways to contribute.
Our Work
We’re starting with work that makes sense for a new student organization and building from there.
We make complicated information easier to understand through student meetings, speakers, and practical learning.
We focus on vulnerability, healthy relationships, online safety, and the everyday choices that can help prevent harm.
We support and learn from Central Ohio organizations already doing this work instead of trying to do it alone.
Youth mentoring is part of BAHT’s long-term vision, but it is not a current program. We want the right training, safeguards, and community partnerships in place before that work begins.

Community
BAHT is learning from local organizations already doing this work and exploring ways students can support what they actually need.
We’re learning from a Columbus social enterprise and exploring thoughtful campus engagement and fundraising opportunities.
